Key features

This handheld meter measures ambient sound quickly and simply, with auto backlight and automatic power-off for fuss-free use. A supplied sponge ball filters wind and unwanted signals for more reliable readings.

Accuracy & performance

Measures 30–130 dB with ±1.5 dB accuracy and 0.1 dB resolution. It uses A-weighting, a 1/2‑inch polarisation capacitance microphone and samples at 2 times per second across 31.5 Hz–8.5 kHz.
